The National Child Protection Task Force (NCPTF) is seeking a talented and dedicated Development Coordinator to oversee and execute key initiatives that drive our fundraising efforts and donor engagement. This role involves critical contributions such as planning and executing campaigns, cultivating relationships with donors and corporate partners, managing data and reports, and supporting events that align with our mission.

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. A background in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, marketing, and/or event coordination is preferred. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring timely communication and stewardship.
  • Support the CEO in outreach to major gift and corporate prospects.
  • Coordinate and execute fundraising campaigns in collaboration with the Communications team.
  • Manage donor records, track contributions, and generate performance reports.
  • Identify new grant opportunities and support the grant application process.
  • Plan and coordinate impactful events and manage sponsorship logistics.
  • Develop and maintain volunteer relationships, ensuring mission-aligned experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of nonprofit development, marketing, or event coordination experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot) and digital fundraising tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven, with a passion for relationship-building and impactful outcomes.

The National Child Protection Task Force (NCPTF) is a small (but mighty) nonprofit dedicated to creating better outcomes for America’s missing, exploited, and trafficked children. We are poised for growth and seeking a Development Coordinator to build and sustain relationships, execute compelling fundraising campaigns, and ensure the smooth operation of our development efforts. 

The Development Coordinator will oversee and implement NCPTF’s fundraising and outreach activities, ensuring donors and partners remain engaged and connected to our mission. This role combines strategic execution with meticulous attention to detail, supporting key initiatives across donor stewardship, fundraising campaigns, corporate partnerships, and events. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional passionate about driving mission-focused impact. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities 

Donor Stewardship & Engagement: 35% 

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors and volunteers to deepen their connection to NCPTF’s mission. 
  • Develop personalized stewardship plans for key donors, ensuring timely communication and acknowledgment of contributions. 
  • Support volunteer stewardship, ensuring meaningful engagement with current volunteers and building relationships with potential volunteers. 
  • Collaborate with the CEO to support outreach to major gift and corporate prospects. 
  • Provide communication and engagement strategies that integrate donors and volunteers as essential contributors to NCPTF’s success. 

Fundraising Campaigns: 20% 

  • Collaborate with the Communications team to design and execute campaigns aligned with the organizational calendar. 
  • Coordinate digital, email, and print appeals to inspire giving and ensure campaign goals are met. 
  • Analyze campaign performance and generate actionable reports. 

Corporate Partner Support: 20% 

  • Build and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with corporate partners. 
  • Manage stewardship tasks to fulfill commitments and identify opportunities for deeper engagement. 
  • Help develop content (e.g., articles, emails, and social media) to support partnerships. 

Data Management, Reporting & Prospect Research: 15% 

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive donor and volunteer records in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and compliance. 
  • Conduct prospect research to identify potential donors, corporate partners, and grant opportunities. 
  • Track interactions, contributions, and engagement to provide actionable insights for leadership. 
  • Generate regular reports on engagement, campaign performance, and development progress. 

Administrative Support: 10% 

  • Identify at least two new grant opportunities annually and support the grant application process.  
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submissions and reporting on grants. 
  • Organize materials for proposal templates and manage compliance for funding support. 
  • Manage acknowledgments and charitable gift receipts. 
  • Support the organization’s community and fundraising events. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 2–5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, marketing, or event coordination. 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (we use Hubspot). 
  • Familiarity with marketing & fundraising campaigns. 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven, with a focus on delivering actionable insights. 
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for building relationships and driving mission-aligned impact. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in donor management software and marketing and/or fundraising analytics. 
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment. 
  • Works closely with NCPTF Leadership to remain in sync with the goals and objectives of the Executive Leadership team. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook); as well as Canva. 
  • Passion for NCPTF’s mission to create better outcomes for missing, exploited, & trafficked children. 

Expectations 

  • Commit to a full-time schedule with flexibility to meet the demands of active engagements and strategic development. 
  • Travel and represent NCPTF at necessary operations, or events in alignment with organizational priorities 
  • Attend regular meetings to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives. 
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professional conduct, both internally and externally. 

Compensation 

  • Salary range: $60,000–$72,000, depending on experience and qualifications. 
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
