Harnessing technology to make a positive impact in the fight against child exploitation

“What if technology could help solve the complex challenges within child protection?”

Kevin Branzetti was the Director of Intelligence at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office when he connected with Kevin Metcalf, a former federal agent turned prosecutor, at the National Cyber Crime Conference. Their conversations revolved around finding better ways to handle cases involving missing, exploited, and trafficked children, all while making the most of limited resources and harnessing emerging technologies for the cause. Robert Liscouski, who held a crucial role in the Department of Homeland Security’s early days, brought experience in infrastructure protection and cyber security, an extensive background in law enforcement, and unique expertise in criminal use of computers and mobile devices. United by their passion for their mission to save #justonemore child, the NCPTF was formed.
Since its’ inception in 2019, the NCPTF has grown to include some of the world’s foremost intelligence, legal, and cybersecurity experts, all united to help make a safer world for today’s children. In addition, we’ve welcomed investigative volunteers from around the globe, partnered with top tech leaders, and provided case assistance, helping thousands of missing, endangered, and exploited children return to safety. From case work to training, the NCPTF provides resources and expertise that law enforcement doesn’t typically have access to. Step by step, we are making progress towards a safer tomorrow.
