Volunteer Role Description: Marketing & Communications Support Volunteers

We are seeking Marketing & Communications Volunteers to help with various aspects of our communications & fundraising outreach, including email marketing, website, social media, content creation, & advertising. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Canva. These flexible, remote-friendly opportunities require an estimated commitment of 5-10 hours per month. Reports To: Head of Communications
Location: Remote
Time Commitment: Flexible, with an estimated commitment of 5-10 hours per month, depending on project needs.
This is an unpaid volunteer role.

The Marketing & Communications Support Volunteer will assist with various communications & fundraising tasks. Be sure to indicate any areas of specialty in your volunteer application. This role is ideal for individuals looking to contribute their skills in a meaningful way to support a small NGO’s outreach and communication efforts.

Focus Areas:

  • Email Campaigns: Assist in creating, scheduling, and managing email marketing campaigns.
  • Social Media: Support content creation and management of social media platforms.
  • Content Creation: Help develop compelling content to support various marketing initiatives.
  • Advertising: Maintain advertising campaigns (Meta & Google).
  • Blogging: Create written content for the ncptf.org blog.
  • Website Updates: Help update the organization's website content.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of marketing and communication principles.
  • Proficiency with Canva or similar basic graphic design tools.
  • Social media and content creation experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
