Kait Rickard serves as Lead Investigator for the National Child Protection Task Force.
Kait Rickard brings over a decade of experience in retail loss prevention, corporate investigations, and digital fraud analysis. Her extensive background includes developing and delivering training materials to strengthen investigative efforts across teams, demonstrating her commitment to advancing investigative practices.
Kait has been an integral part of the National Child Protection Task Force (NCPTF) for the past two years, volunteering as an OSINT Analyst to support critical investigations. Her dedication to honing her skills has led her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysis, further enhancing her expertise in advanced investigative techniques.
Kait's unique attention to detail and open source intelligence skills led to progress in hundreds of investigations during her time volunteering with NCPTF, and led to her nomination as Volunteer of the Year 2023. Kait's hard work and team-focused demeanor led her to become a peer leader amongst her team, finding ways to engage and inspire those around her to further the NCPTF mission. In addition to casework, Kait has played a role in NCPTF's efforts to train law enforcement, utilizing real world case scenarios to provide skill-development at the National Cybercrime Conference in Boston.
