🚨 URGENT NEED: Our Next Missing Child Rescue Operation is in Less Than 30 Days And These Kids Need Help NOW 🚨

"could we maybe get a washcloth?"

Endangered children aren’t asking for toys or electronics. They’re needing washcloths, socks, and deodorant – and they deserve more.

These kids have grown accustomed to living without for too long and we have the power to help them feel seen, safe, and protected at a critical moment.

Kim doesn't deserve to go without any longer

Thirteen-year-old Kim knows all about one-size-fits-all.

For two years, she’s been shuffled through the system—no place of permanency, no place that feels like home. Each time she’s “recovered,” she’s given the same thing: a pair of one-size-fits-all sweatpants, travel toiletries that don’t meet her needs, and a bed she’ll only keep for a few weeks before running again.

She’s learned by now not to expect anything different.

She’s staying in an unsafe place again, but it’s the best option she has. Then there’s a knock at the door– it’s the police, and she knows she’s about to go back to the one-size-fits-all system that’s failed her so many times before: another new group home, another set of clothes that don’t fit, another cycle where no one really sees her.

It’s been years since she’s had help with her hair—something that used to bring her so much pride.

The system does not have additional resources to help kids like Kim feel safe, appreciated, and seen when they’re located. Your support can offer dignity, comfort, and a reason to believe that this time is different.

Your gift helps provide Kim and others like her with essentials that meet their individual needs—not just generic items, but products that help restore their confidence and show them that they are truly seen.

This is our chance to show them that this time, someone cares.

We’re raising funds to give rescued kids the dignity of choice. Your support allows them to pick out their own clothing, shoes, and essentials—helping them regain a sense of autonomy that has been stripped away for too long.

Each donation directly funds essentials like new clothing, bedding, hygiene and grooming products, transportation, and meals for children recovered during our Missing Child Recovery Operations. Additionally, your contributions will help address the critical need for mental health support among rescued children and families of children who have run away and are being returned home.

This fund is a direct path of support for endangered children and their families, making their recovery more humane, dignified, and trauma-informed. 🚨 This is an urgent need: next Missing Child Rescue Operation starts in New York in less than 30 days. 🚨

These Are the Essentials Missing Kids Are Asking For:

✔️ Personal Linens & Essentials – Because no child should ever have to go without the basics.
✔️ Deodorant & Toiletries – Items that actually meet their individual needs, to help them regain confidence.
✔️ Hair Products for All Ethnicities – Because dignity starts with feeling like yourself again.
✔️ Clothing That Fits not only their bodies, but their style and personality – A fresh start means something that belongs to them.

➡️ Donate now to put these essentials directly into their hands.

Children & Family Mental Health Support Awards

Contributions will also help address the critical need for mental health and post-rescue support among rescued children and families of children who have run away and are being returned home.

This funding will be designated as an award to a regional nonprofit, ensuring that cost is not a barrier for mental health care for both children and families during their recovery journey.

➡️ Our next operation starts in less than 30 days. We need your help now to make this a success.

How the Fund Works

The system serving these kids is only equipped to give them the basics, and we want to go a step further.

We want these children to feel seen through products that meet their individual needs and help them walk into their new life with confidence.

It is a remarkable honor to make a direct impact in the life of a rescued child and their family. Here’s exactly how we plan to use this fund to make a big impact in 2025:

Contributions will be earmarked for use across NCPTF’s Missing Child Rescue Operations in 2025.

These tangible resources will make a profound difference for children, especially in our upcoming March rescue operation in the Capital Region of New York where more than half of cases potentially involve children under state care with significant material needs.

Funds will be used flexibly to address immediate tangible needs for children during the operation and to support kids & families through nonprofit partnerships in each operation’s region.

  1. NCPTF will use donated funds to purchase brand new clothing, toiletries, personal hygiene items, shoes, bedding, meals, & snacks for children rescued during the operation.

  2. Additionally, NCPTF will award a stipend to a regional nonprofit partner to help families of children who have run away and are being returned home with mental health care and continued support services.

Unlike our structured sponsorship options, this fund is used only for rescued children and family support in communities where NCPTF hosts Missing Child Rescue Operations. The fund welcomes donations of any size, and can complement any sponsorship option.
