Al Rollins serves as Director of Law Enforcement Partnerships for the NCPTF.
Over the past three decades, Elwyin “Al” Rollins has built a distinguished career as a leader and senior executive in law enforcement, specializing in criminal intelligence, major crimes, data analysis, and leadership principles. Al is widely recognized for his expertise in intelligence sharing and investigations, applying best practices to enhance law enforcement capabilities.
Al’s career has taken him through various critical roles, including serving in the Uniformed Patrol Division, Special Operations Division, Criminal Investigations Division, and ultimately the Office of the Sheriff. As the Director of the Central Florida Intelligence Exchange (CFIX), a fusion center, Al oversaw the intelligence needs of nine counties within Florida’s Regional Domestic Security Task Force Region 5.
In his leadership at CFIX, Al worked closely with agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force. Known as an authority in intelligence, Al focused on fostering partnerships with the private sector to enhance intelligence collection and analysis in areas such as domestic, international, and cyber terrorism.
Al’s career reflects his deep commitment to protecting society by employing victim-centered strategies that prioritize the needs of those affected by crime. His approach fosters strong, collaborative relationships with law enforcement, ensuring that intelligence-driven efforts are not only effective but also compassionate and focused on delivering justice for victims.
